Our medical team understands women’s specific urological needs

You don’t have to suffer with urological conditions that make life difficult, uncomfortable and even painful. The experienced physicians and medical team at Center Ohio Urological Group will address them with compassion and skill.

We’re here to help you lead a healthier, happier life.

Central Ohio Urological Group is here to help you with a wide range of common and complex urological conditions, including female sexual enhancement. Along with general urological issues, here are a few of the most common women’s conditions we treat:

Urinary incontinence

The two most common types of urinary incontinence affecting women are stress incontinence and urge incontinence, which is also called overactive bladder. Incontinence affects twice as many women as men, which is believed to be due to pregnancy, childbirth and menopause. The good news is that urinary incontinence is not a normal part of aging, and it can be treated.

Pelvic floor disorders

There are several types of pelvic floor disorders (PFD), including urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. A PFD occurs when the muscles or connective tissues that support organs, including the bladder, uterus, cervix, vagina and rectum are weakened or injured. A range of treatment is available.

Vaginal health

Postmenopausal women, as well as those with side effects from hysterectomies or breast cancer treatments, may suffer from changes in their vaginal health including dryness and pain during intercourse. Our MonaLisa Touch® laser therapy delivers gentle treatment to the vaginal wall tissue to restore vaginal health by generating new collagen, elastin and vascularization.
