Central Ohio Urology Group has partnered with the manufacturer of the UroLift® System to conduct an informative Community Health Seminar to discuss treatment options for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Many men find their quality of life is negatively impacted by ongoing symptoms of BPH, which can include frequent and urgent urination, weak urine flow and interrupted sleep from multiple trips to the bathroom. BPH affects over 40 million men in the US – we see many men in their 40s, 50s and older with symptoms of BPH.

In this seminar, we will be discussing the range of treatment options available for BPH including the proven, minimally invasive UroLift® System procedure.

The UroLift® System procedure uses tiny implants to hold open the obstructed pathway that blocks urine flow.  Most patients return home immediately and experience rapid recovery and relief of BPH symptoms. The most common side effects are mild to moderate and include pain or burning with urination, blood in the urine, pelvic pain, urgent need to urinate and/or the inability to control the urge. Most symptoms resolve within two to four weeks after the procedure. Speak with your Urologist to see if the UroLift System is right for you.
