Executive team

 Amanda Lewis joined Central Ohio Urology Group nearly a decade ago and serves as Chief Nursing Officer. In this role, she leads and supervises the practice’s nursing program and care provided to patients, as well as the ongoing development of nursing staff in the group’s 15 locations throughout the region. Ms. Lewis’ leadership has been critical to the success of the Central Ohio Urology Surgery Center. This state-of-the-art, urology-specific ambulatory surgery center (ASC) provides a wide range of advanced procedures and is one of the first in the nation to offer robotic urologic and cancer surgery.

Prior to serving as Chief Nursing Officer , Ms. Lewis was Director of Ambulatory Surgery Services in Central Ohio Urology Group’s flagship Tech Center practice in Gahanna, Ohio. She previously served as Clinical Supervisor of the Wilson Bridge practice in Worthington, Ohio, and began her work at Central Ohio Urology Group as a floor nurse within the ambulatory surgery center.

Ms. Lewis is an active member of multiple organizations, including the Urology Nurses Association (UNA), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), Ohio Nurses Association (ONA) O.R. Manager, Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI). She is currently training with the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF) to become a surveyor for its Medicare accredited facilities.

Ms. Lewis graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She completed her MBA at Ohio University.
