Fees, Insurance and Billing Procedures
Fees – We expect payment at the time of your visit. Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express are accepted for your convenience. An estimate of the charges for any surgery will be given to you although it may not be possible to quote an exact figure because of unforeseen circumstances. This estimate will not include any unexpected complications or unrelated conditions that might arise.
Insurance – If you have insurance to pay for the services you receive; please provide it at the time you check in. We will ask for your insurance ID card every time you come in. If there is any co-payment that your insurance requires for you to pay, we will collect it during the check-in process as well. This practice attempts to accept most insurance plans but it is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to know their benefits and verify whether their plan covers the services provided by our physicians.
Billing – In most cases, you will receive a monthly statement if you have an outstanding balance. Payment of this balance is expected within 30 days. As billing is a costly process, we ask that you plan to pay for your care and treatment at the time of service, and together we can help control costs and fees.
